As the indoor tanning industry prepares to gather in Nashville at the Smart Tan Downtown show, October 14-16, cast mates from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” are also booking their flights. Smart Tan has announced both Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will be in attendance, making appearances in the exhibit hall, as well as at after-hours festivities.
JWoww attended last year’s tradeshow to promote her lotion partnership with New Sunshine. She’ll be back again this year for a meet-and-greet at Australian Gold’s booth (#702) at the Nashville Convention Center. Additionally, she’s scheduled to make an appearance at the New Sunshine party on Saturday, October 15, being held once again at the Wildhorse Saloon. Party hours are set for 8:30 p.m. -2 a.m., and salon professionals must have an invitation to enter. Invites can be picked up during show-floor hours from any of the New Sunshine booths.
Supre is joining in the Jersey Shore celebrity endorsement action with the addition of Snooki to its line-up. Full details have yet to be disclosed; however, the Nashville appearance has been confirmed, and three products are slated to be launched in salons nationwide this November. Snooki will appear at Supre’s booth (#514), as well as at their Saturday night party at McFaddens Nashville – just steps away from the New Sunshine party. She’s expected to arrive at 10 p.m., and invitations are available exclusively during the day at the Supre booth.
Fellow lotion purveyor Devoted Creations (DC) recently announced its new product partnership with Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio. However, as of press time, there was no word on whether DC will be hosting a bash – or a celebrity appearance.
