As in years past, Heartland’s staff will continue to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to offering the industry’s widest variety of resources in one location. Prior to the expo, Friday’s events will include: Smart Tan Certification and Norvell’s Sunless Certification (new this season!). Each Expo offers all-day education with numerous speakers from the most respected names in the business. Topics include: effective merchandising, marketing to consumers, advanced selling strategies and driving retail sales. Additionally, each event provides salon owners and employees an opportunity to see 2011 lotion products, lamps, Heartland by TanAmerica equipment and CA Clothing accessories.
The grand finale event, in Kansas City, Mo., will have a new updated format and location – Harrah’s Casino & Hotel. This dynamic location will offer the perfect balance between business and pleasure. What's more, the Kansas City expo offers guests an after-party celebration, Saturday evening following the expo. Guests will be able to relax at the upscale VooDoo dance club/lounge while enjoying complimentary drinks and appetizers. Saturday evening’s events are sponsored by Australian Gold, Swedish Beauty, Designer Skin and California Tan.
