The ITA is holding elections for several seats on its board of directors. The nomination period closed on August 20, 2010, with a handful of candidates qualifying to run for three-year terms.
In the Salon Sector, there are two seats available. The candidates are:
•Bart Bonn – Ashely Lynn’s Inc, Omaha, Neb.
•Dan Caskey – Cincinnati Tan, Cincinnati
•Don Hirsch – Ultimate Exposure, Chicago
•James Oliver – Beach Bum Tanning, New York
In the Non-Salon Sector, three of the following will be selected:
•Ed Jerger- Four Seasons Sales and Service, Paris, Tenn.
•Susan Miller – PC Marketing, Ridgefield, N.J.
•Karl Platzer – Light Sources Inc., Orange, Conn.
•Max Recone – MR International, LLC, Las Vegas
•Scott Thomason – MT Industries, Macedonia, Ohio
On September 1, official ballots will be sent to all ITA member company delegates. The ballots are due back to the ITA by September 17. The newly elected board members will be officially announced on October 1.
