Research from Q Interactive's Women's Channel shows that female customers are drawn to partners (marketing or otherwise) who provide value and are cognizant of their worlds. In fact, when it comes to Web advertising, the study shows that women actually welcome a custom pitch from the companies they rely on.
Some marketing experts have been leery of direct messaging – thinking it would make consumers suspicious. However, online-savvy women shatter that thinking, showing they actually prefer their brands of choice to pursue them with relevant messaging.
Some of the other research results reveal:
•More than half the respondents consider themselves in "relationship" with their online product and service providers of choice.
•In order to gain footing with female customers, marketing efforts should provide valuable information, show an effort to become more acquainted with the woman, and offer them something.
•Almost 90 percent of the women revealed a desire to receive individualized offers from the companies they trust.
