A Washington state salon owner is grateful no customers were tanning at the time a nearly 90-year-old woman drove through the wall, sending a tanning bed through the business. Lynden Fair Square Fitness and Tanning previously offered four tanning units, but is down to two after the accident, which damaged exterior and interior walls, equipment and more. No injuries were reported.
The driver was a customer who accidentally pressed on the accelerator when trying to park outside. Ironically, she still worked out there after handling the details of the accident – and then drove home.
