Norwalk, Ohio-based E's Glow Tanning and Salon raised more than 1,200 cans and boxes of food in a holiday donation drive. The salon’s owner, Erica Knoll, looked online last month for ideas of how her business could make an impact during the holidays.
Knoll is said to have collected the goods from patrons five cans at a time in exchange for a free tan, although participants were welcome to donate more.
The Norwalk Salvation Army was on the receiving end to help ensure the donations are distributed among the needy.
