Those who are jobless and eagerly awaiting news on whether Senate will vote to extend their unemployment checks for another 13 weeks are still waiting.

Last month, the House passed a ruling that would extend unemployment benefits for those living in states with the highest unemployment rates. Now, the bill is stalled in the Senate. Meanwhile, the checks ran out for 400,000 last month, and another 200,000 are set to lose benefits at the end of this month.
