LightSources is well into the process of integrating Voltarc Technologies into its family of companies, and would like to give salon owners a brief update of what’s going on at the new Voltarc.
All Voltarc manufacturing operations in Waterbury, Conn. have been discontinued. Voltarc manufacturing equipment, as required, has been moved to the LightSources’ manufacturing and distribution complexes in Orange and Milford, Conn. Some of the equipment has also been relocated to LightSources’ European site.
Manufacturing of high-output sign lamps is underway, and manufacturing of sign tubing and neon components will begin shortly.
Operations surrounding Kulka wiring devices have fully resumed and the company is filling backorders as quickly as possible. All sign products and Kulka wiring devices and related products will be handled by the Voltarc sales staff listed below.
Specialty fluorescent products have been transitioned to LightSources’ LCD lighting sales group and tanning products division. Manufacturing is underway for all product lines in these categories.
