The ITA Board of Directors held its fourth regular meeting of 2009 in Oldsmar, Fla., Sept. 14-15. The meeting, hosted by Devoted Creations’ Lewis Henry, was open to the entire industry.
The most important action taken by the board at this meeting was the decision to sponsor an industry trade show in 2010. Instead of organizing the show itself, the ITA will endorse an event that is being planned and operated by an ITA member company. The ITA’s Revenue-Generating Committee is developing a set of criteria for shows the ITA will consider sponsoring and those standards will be made available to any ITA member interested in this type of partnership.
