McDonald’s Puts Green Design Into New Restaurant

McDonald’s is just one major chain that is exploring green design for its new stores. Major players including Target and Wal-Mart are moving toward building materials and designs that save energy, are more environmentally responsible overall and are eligible for LEED certification.

In fact, one North Carolina McDonald’s, which opens this week, will even feature two free charging stations for electric cars.
