Doctors Urged To Conduct Vitamin D Tests

According to a report adopted at the American Medical Association’s annual meeting, physicians should consider assessing 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in patients who are likely to have low levels of the hormone and then provide counsel about ways these patients can improve their vitamin D status.
