The host hotel for the 2nd annual 2009 West Coast Tanning Expo has changed. The expo will now take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino (previously, it was planned for the Paris Hotel & Casino). The dates of the expo remain the same: June 8-9.
The change in venue is due to the high number of expo registrants and exhibitors—JK North America discovered a need to expand the square footage of the space reserved at the Paris Hotel. Unfortunately, Paris was unable to accommodate the expansion request—so, JK North America made the decision to move the expo to the larger and more spacious Rio.
Here are some of the benefits of the change:
- Reduced room rate: $80 per night at the Rio (was $99 per night at Paris)
- All rooms are suites
- All West Coast Tanning Expo attendees will have access to an expo check-in attendant—you won’t have to wait in line upon arrival at the Rio.
- The Rio has a free shuttle to and from “The Strip,” which runs every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. daily
Attendees who have already made hotel reservations at Paris and wish to move to the Rio do not need to contact the hotel. Your reservation(s) will be transferred automatically, and deposits made to the Paris will be refunded and the Rio will guarantee all transferred reservations until arrival.
Attendees wishing to remain at Paris will need to contact the Harrah's Call Center at 888.746.6955 and have their reservation removed from the group block at the Paris.
If you have not yet made hotel reservations, contact the Rio directly and mention group code "SRWCTE9" or "West Coast Tanning Expo" by May 22 for the discounted room rate (subject to availability).
