In March, 663,000 jobs were trimmed from employer payrolls, bringing the total unemployment count to 2 million so far this year which marks a 25-year high for unemployment.
According to CNNMoney, even if no more jobs are cut during the next nine months, 2009 would still be the fourth worst year for job losses since the government started tracking the number of workers in 1939.
