“I’m really looking forward to this year’s event,” says Melissa McConnell, the expo director. “We have many lotion manufacturers—Australian Gold, California Tan, Designer Skin, Supre, Devoted Creations, Performance Brands, Fiji Blend and Norvell—and a few new vendors this year. The schedule features great speakers with sessions geared toward strengthening your business because education focused on business development is really the key to success in today’s tough economy.”
Among the new vendors is Blu Sand LLC, manufacturer of the fade-resistant Bleachsafe Towels. “I love that salons are able to sanitize these towels with bleach, and remove stubborn stains from bronzers and lotions while still being able to coordinate colors to match their interior design or salon logo,” says Amy Scott, marketing coordinator for Future Industries.
