Small and medium-sized businesses have a new way to reach targeted audiences for less cash with new online ads through the social-networking Web site, MySpace.
Released Oct. 13 from MySpace, MyAds is an online tool for designing banner ads, ASI Central reports. MyAds users can take advantage of available templates or use their own layouts.
Developers claim the program is more accurate than the competition at targeting potential customers because of its ability to build a regularly updated profile for each site member based on interests, gender, age and location. MyAds will cost businesses about a quarter for each click they receive, but as clicks increase, the cost for each will go down.
MySpace hosts more than 100 million personal accounts and is the second-largest social networking site. The site draws more than 200,000 new users every day.
