Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based South Beach Tanning Co. announced plans to build its largest salon location to date, which also will be used as a training facility. The new salon will be located in Orlando, Fla. at the University Commons shopping center, directly across the street from the University of Central Florida (UCF) main campus.
In addition to its very high-traffic area—UCF has a student body population of 46,000—the location will house meeting and training space for the company’s corporate managers and new franchise owners.
“We are extremely excited to be able to train new franchise owners in a very fast paced and hands-on environment,” says Brian Hibbard, president and founder of South Beach Tanning Co. “The success of each individual franchise owner is the key to our growth. The investment in this ‘working’ training facility will help further the success of our new franchise owners.”
The University Commons shopping center has been under construction since late 2007 and will be completed by summer 2008.
