Thief Uses Syringes To Rob Salon

Like most businesses, tanning salons have seen their share of strange robbery ploys. However, a recent theft in Delaware County, Pa., may take the cake. It’s there that a 38-year old man is alleged to have held up California Sun Mega Salon – using several syringes. The thief threatened to “stick” the clerk with HIV-infected needles if the attendant refused to hand over the cash in the register. The attendant obliged, giving the man $50.

The same tactic was also used to steal less than $300 from a swimwear store.

As of press time, the man was still on the loose.
