Texas House Passes Revised Version Of HB 1310

The Texas House has passed a revised version of HB 1310.

Originally, the bill sought to restrict teens younger than 18 from using tanning equipment in Texas without written consent from a doctor. Now, the bill seeks to ban anyone under 16 1/2 years old from tanning indoors.

The revised measure was approved with a 127-19 vote and now heads to the Senate.
