Tax Breaks Headed for Paychecks

The Making Work Pay tax credit should be hitting your paycheck this pay period. For the most part, if you have earned income, you are eligible for the tax break. Those not eligible include those who are listed as dependents on someone else’s tax return, and those receiving Social Security payments.

The rough breakdown includes an extra $10-15 per week for singles; $15-20 for married filers.
