Salon Employee Assaulted At Gunpoint

According to news reports, a man entered a tanning salon in Peoria, Ariz., on Sept. 14 and sexually assaulted a 20-year-old female employee at gunpoint.

The victim, who said she had never seen the man before, struggled with the man during the assault and was able to escape. Police were called to the scene and, after negotiators were unsuccessful in attempts to get any response from the suspect inside the salon, officers entered to find the man dead in a bathroom with a gunshot wound to the head.
