Peeping Incident Reminds Salon Owners: Monitor Service Workers

A 41-year-old man hired to help with salon renovations was arrested after allegedly using his work ladder to look over the wall into a room and photograph a naked 24-year-old female customer. The victim saw the man’s cell phone pointed at her from over the wall as she left her tanning bed.

The man told police that his cell phone was at home; however, an officer found what appeared to be the man’s phone in a nearby mailbox outside. The phone did have several photos of women by tanning equipment. It also showed missed calls – an officer had recently called the number while trying to locate the phone.

The man remains in custody on unrelated charges as police continue investigating the incident, which occurred at a salon in Kansas City, Mo.
