Oregon Tanning Equipment Tax On The Table

Oregon DHS Public Health Division is considering a proposal to amend OAR , chapter 333 (divisions 100, 102, 103, 106, 111, 116, 118, 119, 120) pertaining to Radiation Protection Services. Within this proposal, tanning equipment will be subject to a 25-percent tax increase.

A public hearing will be held in Portland, Ore. on June 23 at 3 p.m. Attendees may present oral testimony at this time. You also may file written comments before 5 p.m. on June 25. Comments should be addressed to the Public Health Rules Coordinator, and can be faxed to (971) 673-1299 or mailed to:
