MassageLuxe Area Development Agreements

St. Louis-based MassageLuxe—a franchised massage therapy salon concept offering high-quality, affordable massages in an upscale environment—has more than 221 locations in development throughout the U.S. since opening the first in April 2008.

Todd Beckman, founder of The Tan Company and MassageLuxe, recently signed several area development agreements throughout the country, including:

• 22-store agreement in St. Louis (as well as a new location at Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Mo.)
• 11-store agreement in Memphis, Tenn.
• 22-store agreement in the Carolinas
• 44-store agreement in Chicago
• 11-store agreement in Michigan
• 33-store agreement in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas5
• 5-store agreement in Atlanta

In addition, a developer has also purchased the rights for a 22-store MassageLuxe and a 22-store The Tan Company in Kansas City—the largest dual concept deal in either company’s history.
