The ITA Joins The Social-Networking Movement

The ITA is joining the social networking movement.

After seeing the popularity of sites such as MySpace, Facebook and LinkedIn, the ITA decided to create a page on Facebook to tap into the increasingly strong tool of social networking (which is perfect for connecting people, building business links, and providing a venue for sharing interests and information).

The ITA’s Facebook page will be an opportunity to provide consumers and fans of indoor tanning with the latest research on vitamin D and information regarding “our side” of the tanning debate. The page will also provide indoor tanners with updates regarding legislation that would affect the industry and will teach them how they can make a difference by fighting such measures.

Look for the ITA on Facebook listed under “Indoor Tanning Association.”
