ITA Board Of Directors 2009 Elections: Eligibility

The nomination period for seats on the ITA board of directors now is open. ITA board of directors’ nominee must be a delegate of an ITA-member company—with dues current on July 1—from the membership sector to which he/she is seeking nomination. That membership sector must be the nominee’s principle business sector in the industry.

To download an application, go to the “Members Only” section of the ITA Web site. The executed application should include information about your business, how long your company has been in the industry, your involvement in previous industry activities and any information regarding other leadership experiences outside of the indoor tanning industry (such as service on other boards). In addition, the ITA will need a photograph to post on its Web site with your information.

Election Timetable

Friday, Aug. 21: Nomination Period Closes
All nominations must be received by the ITA no later than 5 p.m. EST.

Tuesday, Sept. 1: Official Ballots Mailed
Ballots will be mailed to all ITA-member company delegates.

Friday, Sept. 25: Ballots Due
All ballots must be received by the ITA no later than 5 p.m. EST.

Thursday, Oct. 1: Elected Members Announced
Newly elected board members officially announced.
