Interlectric Kicks Off Campaign With Big Donation

Interlectric and tanning industry partner MR International Group recently made a $1,000 donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 1,000 trees in an area in need of reforestation.

At the beginning of 2008, Interlectric announced their mission for the year is to help the tanning industry “Go Green” by launching a tanning lamp-recycling program.

In addition, the company has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds of its lamp recycling kit to the Arbor Day Foundation. For each recycling kit sold, one tree will be planted in a national forest. The $1,000 donation kicks off that campaign, which Interlectric calls the “Helping You Help the Earth” campaign.

“Our collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation gives all of us an opportunity to make an important investment in the future of the environment,” says Bob Brown, marketing coordinator for Interlectric.
