Fusion Tanning Studios Opens 6 New Locations

In a time when many small businesses are struggling, Fusion Tanning Studios has opened six new locations—three in Knoxville, Tenn., and three in Lexington, Ky.—in the last nine months, bringing the total number of salons in the chain to 14.

“For our newest salons in Knoxville, we knew the demand for tanning services in those locations was very high,” President and CEO Noel Russell says. “We felt many of those people were not receiving the best tan possible and so we wanted to give them that option.”

As for the three new salons in Lexington, Russell says he wanted to open the company up to a new market. “The Lexington area is a new one for us to work in,” he adds. “However, we are used to operating in college towns and felt we could provide exceptional customer service along with additional options to the tanning experience.”
