Doctor Says Health Benefits Of UV Exposure Outweigh Disadvantages

Professor Tim Oliver, a medical oncologist at Barts and the London Hospital, has said that he believes the health benefits of UVA and UVB exposure outweigh the disadvantages, and even goes on to mention using a tanning bed during the winter months.

The reason for his statement? The fact that exposure to the sun stimulates production of vitamin D.
