Abate President and CEO, Frank Abate, introduced new and longtime fans of Abate tanning lotions to the company’s new logo at the 2nd Annual West Coast Tanning Expo, held June 8-9 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The new logo features a youthful flair and depicts the uniqueness of the company—and it is actually a visual play on words. “Abate is all about the body; those salon owners who know—or come to know—our products realize that,” Frank Abate says. “When they look at the new logo, the elements that distinguish our company become visible.” At the Abate booth, expo attendees were introduced to its newest products: Mango Flambe Tingle Factor 5, Quintessential Tingle Factor 5, and Quintessential (with bronzer). In addition, many other Abate bestsellers were available as samples and show specials to buy, and Abate T-shirts were handed out to attendees. Frank Abate was joined at the booth by his wife, Carolyn, and three children, Frankie, Angel and Nick. And, making a surprise appearance to greet old friends and meet new ones was company founder, John Abate. “This show reminds me of when I first started out over 20 years ago,” he said. “I believe that I worked just as hard here as when I did my first show in Las Vegas.”
