Mystic Tan Promotes ‘Safety First’

Mystic Tan, known for its innovative sunless tanning options, continues to revolutionize the industry with its patented MyMyst System technology. MyMyst allows tanners to enjoy a customized, individual skincare treatment with personal cartridges of tanning or spa solution. And because each customer receives a safety-sealed cartridge labeled by Mystic Tan, there’s no question as to what’s in the bottle.

“Consumers today are very savvy, and they demand the best,” says Ricky Croft, vice president of development at Mystic Tan. “The single-use cartridges in the MyMyst System not only allow every session to be customized, but also give customers peace of mind to know they are getting the real thing.”

Mystic Tan booths provide more than 20 million tanning sessions per year, and consumers ask for it by name. To ensure the safety and satisfaction of these customers, the cartridges come with a tamper-evident safety seal. The removal of the safety seal should only take place if the customer is adding tanning enhancements and should be done in the client’s presence. If the safety seal is not present, the product should not be used, as Mystic Tan cannot ensure the safety and quality of the contents.

“We really want to be able to provide customers with assurance that they are getting the best quality ingredients and formulations for which the Mystic Tan brand stands,” Croft says.
