Mystic Tan Unveils New Additives

Mystic Tan has introduced three skincare treatments, each targeting a specific need that can be used in conjunction with—or independently of—a Mystic Tan tanning session, added two new fragrances to its MysticAroma additive line and now provides another pre-tan enhancer additive, HyperAdditive.

The skincare treatments and additives allow salon owners to capture three types of clientele with one MyMyst booth: UV-tanners, UV-free tanners and spa-goers.

The revolutionary MyMyst System design provides customized individual skincare treatments via personal cartridges and an airbrush-like application. The AHA RefiningMyst™ Complex is an alpha-hydroxy formulation that uses natural fruit acids to exfoliate the skin gently and naturally. This creates the perfect skin condition for a subsequent UV or UV-free tan, or can serve as a stand-alone skincare regimen normally only found at day spas.

Intended for the UV tanner, the ReplenishingMyst™ Complex is an antioxidant- and vitamin-enriched formula featuring ingredients such as Aloe vera, green tea and vitamin E to help soothe skin and replenish moisture lost during the UV-tanning process. The complex is designed for use prior to tanning indoors.

The RevitalizingMyst™ Complex provides many skin benefits, and includes anti-aging, antioxidant and vitamin-enriched ingredients. Dubbed a “spa treatment in a bottle” by Mystic Tan developers because of multi-benefit ingredients like collagen, elastin, vitamin E and green tea, this product enhances many of the services that salons and spas already offer.

With the new MysticAroma, users are able to take advantage of an aromatherapy treatment during their Mystic Tan experience. MysticAroma is now available in Vanilla Crème, Desert Bloom and Coconut Lime scents, and the additives can be used in traditional drums of Tanning Myst—for booths like the Original and the Innovation Series—as well as in four-ounce mini-cartridges for the MyMyst System.

Finally, to make the tanning process even faster, Mystic Tan’s HyperTan can now be purchased as an additive—called HyperAdditive—which can be inserted directly into the cartridge of Tanning Myst, saving the customer an extra step.
