Can-Tan 2007 Symposium Sets Record

More than 550 salon owners attended the Can-Tan Sun Systems’ annual training seminar held Jan. 20-21. The record-breaking event at the Executive Inn in Coquitlam, British Columbia was the largest training seminar ever held in Canada.

The event, which included salon certification, allowed salon operators to see new high-end tanning equipment from JK Ergoline, Sundash and Sun Capsule as well as peruse lotions, lamps and eyewear. Speakers included representatives from Sun Ergoline, Cosmedico Light, Designer Skin, Supre, California Tan, Fiesta Sun, Fiji Blend, skinscience, Synergy Tan and Eye Pro.

More than $5,000 in prizes were handed out along with $1,000 in cash and lottery tickets. Attendees also received free sample bags worth more than $400.
