JK Holding Restructures Senior Management, Names New CEO

The senior management of Windhagen, Germany-based JK Holding, which comprises the brands Ergoline, Soltron, Sundash, Global Sun Light, T.W. Tan and SunLync, has been restructured.
Under previous leadership, the JK Group positioned itself internationally in order to ensure successful development as a worldwide leader for commercial tanning products. Now that the process is complete, the Kratz family has become more involved in the executive management of the company.
Effective immediately, Herman Nanninga, takes over the position and duties as Chief Executive Officer of the JK Group. He also is responsible for all financial activities and obligations. Nanninga is married to owner Walter Kratz’s oldest daughter, Sabine.
With a strong international background, Nanninga has an MBA in economics, as well as years of experience as a successful executive with many companies including the Shell Corporation, KNP BT, DSM and Pactiv Corporation.
Additionally, Jens-Uwe Reimers, who has gained extensive industry knowledge as managing director of Ergoline International, has been named the new Chief Sales Officer in charge of sales and marketing. Dr. Heinrich Komesker remains Chief Technology Officer for the R&D, production and service divisions.
According to the company, the new senior management is the basis to further strengthen and build upon the No. 1 position of the JK Group in the world. The new leadership of the JK Group has a clear focus on R&D, production and sales of innovative and technologically leading tanning equipment that provides a high degree of investment security for salon owners. The group also will put a strong emphasis on market and customer orientation. The history of the JK Group has shown that dedication to customers is a strong factor for success and the new leadership will reinforce this customer-focused attention.
