Party Prompts Lots of (White) Smiles

Tan Today’s virtual Open House on July 27th was great fun and a tremendous success. What’s not to like with Sparky serving up the drinks and people talking about how they promote their teeth whitening services to make both their pocketbook and customers smile?

In case you missed the party, XpresSmile sponsored a thread on “How to Promote and Market Teeth Whitening in Your Tanning Salon.” Prizes were handed out to forum participants who provided interesting and/or insightful information that everyone in the tanning community could use. One popular suggestion was to whiten all of the employees’ teeth – especially the front desk staff – and be sure employees talk about the service to customers as they’re entering and leaving the salon. Groupon was mentioned several times as a way to promote the service and get customers to try it out. Being featured as a daily deal works very well to launch the service if it is new to the salon. Other posters mentioned how they place ads and flyers in each of the rooms and offer a couple free tans with the purchase of a teeth whitening.
