Tanning Industry Veteran Thankful – Especially for Lamp Win

Leif Vasstrom, Principal of Supra Brands Group, has been in the indoor tanning industry longer than many of today’s owners have been alive, yet his enthusiasm – and appreciation for his customers – is as strong as ever. LookingFit caught up with this industry icon the day before Thanksgiving, as Vasstrom had just learned of his 2010 Industry Choice Award.

“The staff and associates of Supra are very humbled – and of course, also very grateful – to receive the Choice Awards, now three years in a row, for our high-pressure lamps,” he shares. “We are also very thankful for the voting from so many salons again in 2010.”

But Vasstrom’s not one to let accolades cause him to rest on his laurels. “We will strive to continue the pursuit of excellence in the products’ performance, longevity and availability, as they are truly our trademark,” he affirms. “It is clear that our distributors and their salespeople are doing a great job in promoting the Supra Collection across the nation and Canada. Thank you all.”
