Since 1992, The National Tanning Training Institute has been training and certifying salon owners and operators nationwide. In 2001, NTTI became the FIRST tanning training program to offer an online option for industry certification and it’s clear that salon owners love the ability to learn on their own time. Now there’s even more to love as NTTI’s Web site, www.tanningtraining.com, has had a makeover and is looking better than ever with enhanced efficiency and streamlined navigation.

NTTI Unveils New Web Site

From the star lineup of certification programs—Basic Indoor Tanning Certification, Sunless Airbrush Technician’s Course, Sunless Training Course, Salon Operations and Procedures, and Lotions and Skincare—to educational data on current regulations and business resources, NTTI has gathered all the information a salon owner needs to promote sensible, moderate and responsible tanning.

The new and improved site also features quick links to “My Account” sign-in and the mailing list, as well as a news section with the most current industry happenings and scientific research sponsored by LOOKING FIT® magazine.

Online Certification Options

Salon operators make the first and most-important impression on potential clients. They are walking billboards for the business and reflect the professionalism of the enterprise. If a client isn’t greeted by a knowledgeable and professional operator, even the cleanest facility, greatest equipment and most amazing line of lotions isn’t going to change that first impression. The operator is the gateway to the entire tanning experience.

NTTI’s online education program allows employees to receive the necessary training on their own schedules. Now is an ideal time for salon owners to take advantage of this convenience and encourage employees to train online.

NTTI’s objective is to provide the indoor tanning industry with valuable, affordable and convenient training for salon owners and operators. All courses are available online 24/7 and provide a complete range of information.
