A female customer is outraged at a 39-year-old Chattanooga, Tenn.-based salon owner who allegedly entered her locked room and was watching her as she tanned. She discovered him in the room as she went to turn over. The police report indicates that the man left when she started yelling.
After a warrant was issued, authorities arrested the owner of Electric Beach Tanning Salon and charged him with “observation without consent.” This was the owner’s third arrest in less than four years. A 2009 charge for domestic assault had been dropped, but he still had a 2006 complaint of sexual battery on file – for an incident that took place at the same salon with a spray-tan customer.
The defendant is scheduled to appear in court for both outstanding charges in February.
