John Overstreet, executive director of the ITA, was notified yesterday that a salon chain based in Arizona discovered a reporter from ABC’s 20/20 had been in the salon, filming with a hidden camera.
According to Overstreet, the operator became suspicious for some reason and confronted the woman. She denied being a reporter; however, the owner had her name because she signed up for a session and decided to do a little research—when he Google’d her name, he discovered she was an investigative reporter with 20/20.
