In the eternal struggle to reach your business’s exact demographic through your marketing efforts, a new study may offer some insight to how (and to whom) your message is hitting.
According to the study from eMarketer:
- More women report using the Internet, but once online, men will browse and surf longer than women.
- Men, more so than women, enjoy watching videos online.
- While men and women both report that they enjoy shopping online, but the difference is how they shop. Much like in stores, men like to “get in and get out,” while women peruse and shop around.
- The one area where men and women were equally compared was in social networking, e-mailing and blogging.
